22-year-old Dagupeño nabbed in drug-bust

 A 22-year-old Dagupeño was nabbed by authorities after a drug-bust operation by PNP in Barangay Pantal. Suspect was identified as Shagen Jay Cayanan Zamora, a resident of Sitio Aliguas in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City.

Police nabbed two heat-sealed sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 5 grams and worth P34,000. Police have filed raps in violation of Republic Act 9165 against the suspect.

Woman flips over as motorcycle hits her in road mishap

 A WOMAN who was jogging on the shoulder of the road is now under observation after a motorcycle hit her in Mangaldan town.

Victim Zamantha Grace de Vera Ballesteros, 28, resident of Barangay Poblacion in Mangaldan town, was jogging along the national road of Barangay Salay, when the incident occurred.

A motorcycle, driven by Alex Basto Bandal, 29, resident of Barangay Sobol in San Fabian town, overtook another motorcycle, but still crashed towards the victim. Ballesteros and Zamantha were rushed to the hospital, where both are still under medical observation.

Electrician and painter nabbed in police ops

A 32-year-old electrician, and 30-year-old painter were arrested in a police operation in Mangaldan town. Suspects were identified as Roel Aquino aka Gie, and Edward Nate Garcia aka Edward, both residents of Barangay Bari, Mangaldan.

Their arrest yielded suspected shabu weighing 1.03 grams, worth P7,004. Both suspects are now under police custody, as charges in violation of RA 9165 have been filed against them.

Man shot dead in Santa Barbara

A MAN was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding criminal in Barangay Balingueo, Santa Barbara town.

PLtCol. Jun Wacnag, Santa Barbara Chief of Police, identified the victim as Samson de Guzman, a resident of Barangay Doyong in San Carlos City, a fruit picker.

Investigation reveals de Guzman was directed by his brother to meet someone in Santa Barbara due to an alleged debt transaction. Upon arriving in the meeting place, he was, however, shot by a man on board a motorcycle. The assailant then fled towards Malasiqui area. De Guzman was dead on the spot.

Drug ops yield P700-K shabu

 TWO Dagupeños were arrested following a drug-bust operation in Barangay Anolid, Mangaldan town, which resulted in the confiscation of more than P700,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Suspects, identified as alias ‘Kiel’, 28, aircon cleaner from Barangay Malued in Dagupan City, and alias ‘Jepoy’, a resident of Barangay Pantal in Dagupan City, were arrested by authorities.

PltCol Roldan CAbatan, Mangaldan chief of police, refused to name the suspects, as their arrest is part of an ‘ongoing operation against illegal drugs’.

Both suspects yielded 105.7 grams of suspected shabu, worth P718,760. Police also recovered the marked money and boodle money used to consummate the operation.

Both suspects are now behind bars, while charges in violation of Republic Act 9165 have been filed against them.

Barangay Tanod nabbed in drug ops, yields almost 500-K shabu

 A BARANGAY tanod was caught in a drug-bust operation by authorities in Barangay Papagueyan, Binmaley town.

Police identified the suspect as Jesus Bandong Rovillos, 48, a resident of Barangay Poblacion in San Carlos City.

Authorities recovered five sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 65 grams and worth P442,000. The suspect also yielded the marked money used in the operation, cellphones, a sling bag, and a motorcycle he used in his transaction.
