Fish vendor arrested in buy-bust operations
A fish vendor was apprehended in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Pangasinan Provincial Office (PDEA PANGPO) and Dagupan City Police Station.
The suspect, identified as Richmund de la Cruz Siriban, was arrested in the early hours of May 9, 2024, in Dagupan City. Siriban, a target listed as drug personality, was identified by PDEA Pangasinan Provincial Officer Rechie Camacho.
During the operation, authorities seized shabu weighing approximately 16 grams, valued at P108,000.00.
Other items confiscated included a black pouch, a scooter, and the buy-bust money. Siriban is facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drug), and Section 11, Article II of RA 9165, also known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. He is currently detained at the PDEA PANGPO detention facility in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. (Ahikam Pasion)
