2nd most wanted man in Dagupan falls
THE second top ‘Most Wanted Person’ in Dagupan City was arrested on Tuesday in Barangay San Jose, Urdaneta City where he was in hiding.
The arrested suspect was identified only as alias “Jun”, 24-year old, from Sitio Aling in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City.
He was served a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Dorothy Jimenez Alarcio-Padilla of Branch 42 in Dagupan City for violation of Section 11 and of Section 12 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), both dated March 11, 2024.
In both cases, the court ordered the accused to post bail bonds of P200,000 and P40,000, respectively.
The warrant of arrest against the accused was served by the Dagupan City Police in collaboration with the Urdaneta City Police.
Lauding the arrest of the accused, P/Brig. General Lou Evangelista, PNP Region 1 director, said this underscored “the dedication and hard work of our local police force”. (Leonardo Micua)
