PNP arrest 84 crime offenders in anti-criminality campaign

THE Pangasinan Provincial Police apprehended 84 lawbreakers during an anti-criminality law enforcement operation in the province from February 18 to 24.

P/Col. Jeff Fanged, police provincial director, reported that 20 were suspected drug dealers, from whom 26.243 kilos of shabu and 1.407 grams of marijuana, with total street value of  P178,600 were seized.

There were 13 arrested for engaging in illegal gambling, while 41- three of whom were identified as most wanted, were served arrest warrants.

Nine persons were arrested  for illegal possession of firearms, from whom 11 weapons were seized and three others were confiscated, Seven firearms were turned over by different owners to the police for safekeeping. (Kim Gealogo)
