P3.4-M shabu, P840K marijuana seized
URDANETA, ROSALES BUY-BUSTS
JOINT police operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Regional Office 1 and Rosales Police Station, seized 500 grams of shabu with P3.4-million street value in a drug sting on March 23 in Barangay Carmen East, Rosales and arrested a high-value target suspect.
Nabbed was Michael Tablizo Illut aka ‘Asiong,’ 45, a resident of Navotas City and caretaker at Gemma Construction Supply Inc. in the town in possession of shabu contained in 10 knot-tied plastics.
Also recovered were one genuine P1,000 bill, 89 pieces of 1000-peso bill machine copy boodle money, three glass tube pipes; a cellular phone, weighing scale, sling bag and a motorcycle.
In Urdaneta City, 2 suspects were arrested March 22 in a buy-bust operation along the bypass road in Barangay Nancayasan by joint Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and police operatives in their anti-drug campaign that resulted in the confiscation of dried marijuana leaves with a P840,000 street value of dried marijuana leaves.
Arrested drug personalities were Ernesto Apostol and Jhosua Abideo.
The seized contraband items weighed more or less seven kilos and wrapped in transparent cling wrap.
Also confiscated were empty sacks, plastic bag, sling bag, wallet, motorcycle with no plate number, one genuine P1,000 bill, bundle of one thousand-peso boodle money, cellular phone, identification cards of the suspects. (Eva Visperas)
