Mangaldan drug ops nab pushers with P100k shabu

TWO individuals were arrested in a drug-bust operation by police operatives in Barangay Poblacion, Mangaldan.

Arrested were Almund Chris Tinte aka ‘Omay’, 30, and Marron Abreu, 39, both residents in the barangay.

An operative posing as a buyer initially bought one sachet containing shabu, and both suspects were promptly arrested once the transaction was consummated.

More plastic sachets containing shabu were found inside a pouch were seized.   The total confiscated shabu was 14 grams, with P95,200 street value. Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 were filed.

 

Three pushers nabbed in three buy-bust ops

A 31-year-old woman was arrested by the Dagupan PNP in a buy-bust operation in the city.

The suspect, Erma Quines de Guzman aka ‘Maymay’, and a resident of Barangay Anolid in Mangaldan town, sold shabu to a police operative posing as buyer.

Authorities confiscated 2 grams of shabu from de Guzman.

In Balungao, John Carlo Laureta, a 32-year-old painter and resident of said place, was arrested in Barangay Capulaan after he sold a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing 1.1 grams and worth P7,480.

In Binmaley, suspect Angelica Solano Matlih aka ‘Bengko’, resident of Barangay Bonuan Gueset in Dagupan City, was arrested as she sold two sachets containing shabu weighing 0.3 grams to undercover policeman.

All the arrested pushers are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.

 

Four injured in tricycle-motorcycle collision

AN elderly couple was injured after a tricycle they were driving was hit by a motorcycle in Tayug town.

Sabas Carlos Tablada, 74, and his wife Eloida, 73, were slowly driving their tricycle along the Provincial Road of Barangay Legaspi, and turned to enter a street when Hubert Delfin, 21, with a backrider, on a speeding motorcycle, crashed onto the tricycle.

 

Speeding bus hits tricycle in Malasiqui

FIVE individuals were injured after a speeding bus hit a tricycle in Malasiqui town.

Victim Jessie Reyes, 65, of Barangay Cobol, San Carlos City, was driving a tricycle along Barangay Taloy, with passengers Nora Reyes, 58, Jeffrey Reyes, 37, Shanara, 9, and Reyna, 22.

The tricycle was cruising in the middle of the road when the speeding bus driven by Rolando Amistad Mendoza Jr., 41, of Barangay Poblacion, Mabini hit them.

All the tricycle’s passengers were thrown out of the tricycle. Fortunately, no one died.  All the victims are in stable condition.

An 18-year-old teen died after hitting a truck along Barangay Jimenez, Mapandan town. Police investigation shows a truck driven by Cesario Batin, 23, when the victim John Paul Flores Josoy, a resident of Barangay Primicias of the said town, made an attempt to overtake another bus but failed and hit the oncoming bus instead.

Victim sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
