SITG Morillo releases images of hitmen in Kap’s murder
THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO), Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) Morillo, released images of suspects involved in the murder of Mangaldan’s Barangay Poblacion, chairwoman Melinda ‘Tonet’ Morillo.
In a Facebook post by the Mangaldan PNP, the photos were screenshots from a CCTV footage collected by authorities during their investigation.
The first suspect was described as wearing red helmet, light long sleeve, and black pants, while the second suspect was wearing gray jacket, black helmet, and black short pants.
The suspects were riding a Suzuki Burgman scooter with no plate number.
As the faces of said persons of interest have been covered, the police are probing deeper into their identity.
The suspects were seen traversing Abalos Street going to Barangay Tebag, and back towards Barangay Poblacion.
Police urged individuals who may have seen or remembered the suspects faces, or any detail that can help solve the case to contact 09985985124 or 09507708580.
DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos has pledged a P500,000 reward for the information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects. Abalos made the promise during his visit to Morillo’s wake on Friday, December 08.
