A 47-year-old widower was shot dead in his home in Sta. Barbara town by still unidentified suspects on Monday, April 10.

Police investigation says victim Diobi Biol Sumaganday, 47, resident of Barangay Sapang,  was inside his house, when perpetrators barged in and shot him three times.

Neighbors rushed to the house after the incident, only to find the victim bloodied and dead.

Probers recovered three fired cartridges fired from a caliber 9-millimeter pistol.
