Businessman shot dead in Urdaneta City
A businessman was shot dead in Urdaneta City by still unidentified suspects on March 8, Wednesday afternoon.
Victim was identified as Carlito Quijarro, 47, a resident of Barangay San Vicente in the city.
Police investigation reveals the suspects barged into the motor parts and accessories shop of the victim, posing as customers.
As soon as they saw the victim, one of the suspects started shooting him, hitting him in different parts of his body. They fled from the shop riding a gray Yamaha motorcycle towards Manaoag.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, but died shortly.
Probers recovered three fired cartridges from a caliber 45 pistol. Police are still determining the motive behind the murder while checking on CCTV footages in the area. (Ahikam Pasion)
