Russian tourists lose P411K to thieves
THREE Russian nationals lost their money and gadgets amounting to P411,000 from thieves who broke into their rooms in one resort in Barangay Nibaliw, San Fabian.
Members of the San Fabian Police Station immediately responded to the incident following a call from resort staff.
Based on police investigation, the three Russians left their belongings inside their rented rooms when they went to Dagupan City to take their meal. When they returned, they found their gadgets and cash missing.
However, the police initially noted no indication of forced entry into their rented room.
The police inspected the CCTVs installed in the resort but these were not defective and did not record anything. Investigation is continuing. (Jhon Caranto/IFM Dagupan)
