Man stabs, cuts partner’s neck dead

A 45-year-old woman was killed by her partner in Lingayen on Sunday, November 6.

Victim Jennifer Ingalla was stabbed several times, and her neck sliced off by live-in partner Rod Navarro, 42, both residents of Barangay Domalandan West in Lingayen town.

Police investigation reveals Navarro, under the influence of liquor, had a heated altercation with the woman victim, that eventually led to the incident.

The PUNCH managed to interview Navarro behind bars who admitted that his patience had ran out as he and Ingalla were always arguing with each other. He also claimed that the victim pawned their 4Ps ATM card, and that she wants to separate from him. This irked Navarro who took a kitchen knife and killed Ingalla.

The victim was rushed by concerned citizens to the hospital, but was declared dead. Navarro surrendered calmly after the police cornered him. A murder case has been filed against Navarro.

Woman dies after jumping off from a  Rosales overpass

A 29-year-old woman died after jumping from an overpass in Barangay Carmen, Rosales  on Friday, November 4.

Victim Airene Soliven, a resident of Barangay Rajal in Balungao town, jumped from the overpass located in front of a mall in the area where she worked.

P/Major Felimon Oligo Jr., Rosales PNP officer-in-charge, said the victim jumped off at around 5:10 in the afternoon. She was rushed to the hospital, but was declared dead at around 5:50 in the afternoon.

Oligo said prior to her suicide the victim made several posts in her Facebook profile that hinted of problems in the  family.

15-year-old boy dies after being zapped

A 15-year-old minor died after he was electrocuted on his way home Thursday, November 4.

Victim Jansen Urbano, resident of Binmaley town, was already home when his friends called him to join them to bathe at a pond.

However, while on their way back home, Urbano accidentally touched a live electric wire that zapped him instantly. His friends tried to rescue him but only managed to pull him out with the help of some rescuers.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
