Man stabs coworker in Urbiztondo
A 20-year-old helper was stabbed by his coworker after a heated altercation in Urbiztondo on Tuesday night, October 4.
Victim Jeric Paningbatan was having a drinking spree with accused Rocky Paningbatan, 32, both residents of Sitio Riverside in Barangay Poblacion of the town, when the duo had a misunderstanding.
Their quarrel, however, turned violent, as the suspect picked up an ice pick on the table and stabbed the victim on the chest.
The police station was alerted by the two’s drinking buddies and managed to arrest the suspect. The ice pick, however, was nowhere to be found.
Rocky is detained at the police station while Jeric is recovering from his chest wound. (Ahikam Pasion)
