Live-in partners nabbed in buy-bust ops
A couple was arrested by authorities after a successful buy-bust operation by police operatives in Pozorrubio on Tuesday night, October 25.
Live-in partners Jaime Judiel Palaruan, 27, helper, and Bernadette Barlolong, 21, tattoo artist, both residents of Barangay Panaga in Laoac town, were nabbed in a resto grill bar in Pozorrubio’s Barangay Talogtog.
They were arrested after selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana leaves for P500 to a police officer posing as a buyer.
Also recovered from the couple were four sachets containing suspected marijuana leaves, and the motorcycle the suspects used.
The suspects have been charged for violation of Republic Act 9165. (Ahikam Pasion)
