Father stabs son dead
A 38-year-old man was stabbed dead by his father in Barangay Bolosan in San Carlos City on Monday night, October 17.
Victim Sammy de Guzman, resident of said area, was speaking with his father Salvador, 68, when a heated argument ensued.
This prompted Salvador to get a knife from the kitchen, and stab his son.
Salvador immediately fled the crime scene, leaving his son left for dead.
Sammy was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Salvador, who earlier ran away to a cousin’s house, later surrendered to authorities. There, he surrendered the murder weapon – a ten-inch kitchen knife.
Salvador is now under police custody, while a case of Parricide has been filed against him. (Ahikam Pasion)
