Farmer stabbed by drug-frenzied son
A 74-year-old farmer was stabbed by his own son, who was high on drugs.
Victim Teofilo Bautista, resident of Barangay Buneg in Pozorrubio, was on his way home with his carabao when he was attacked and stabbed several times by his son Ramil, 28 years old.
He was immediately arrested by responding policemen and seized two packs of dried marijuana leaves, and other drug paraphernalia.
A kitchen knife, that the suspect used to stab his father, was also recovered in his possession. The father survived the attack. Police believed Ramil was high on drugs when the incident took place. (Ahikam Pasion)
