A drug peddler was arrested by police officers in an operation in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City on Wednesday, June 15.

The suspect, identified as Jackson Bugayong aka Jack, 38, a resident of Barangay Poblacion in Bugallon town, was the subject of a drug-bust operation along Arellano Street.

Police operatives recovered two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one five-hundred-peso bill, and six pieces of boodle money used to buy illegal drugs from Bugayong.

Bugayong, who was under surveillance as a drug supplier for GROs and other night life  operations in the city, is currently under Dagupan PNP custody and will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165. (Ahikam Pasion)
