3 members of communist group surrender

THREE farmers from Bayambang town, all women and confessed members of a communist front organization, took their oath of allegiance to the government after withdrawing their support to the organization last May 17.

The PNP provincial office identified the three as Adelina Creus, of Barangay Paragos, Bayambang; Exclinita Ferrer of Barangay San Gabriel 2nd, and Mercedes Ramos, also of Barangay Paragos and were active members of the ‘Ulopan na Umbaley ed Camp Gregg Military Reservation’ under the umbrella of the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas.

The three took their oaths of allegiance to the government in a ceremony at Barangay Manambong Sur in the morning of May 17, witnessed by members of the police and military that facilitated their surrender.

Those who facilitated their surrender were members of the Bayambang Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Team, PNP Special Action Force, 105th Mobile Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1, Regional  Intelligence Division, Provincial Investigation Unit, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office.
