A BARANGAY captain of Villasis denied posting threats against Vice President Leni Robredo on his Facebook account and reported the posting and hacking of his account to the police.

A police report dated March 18 showed that Barangay Capulaan chairman Amado Cenizan stated that he came to the police station to report that he learned of a post on his Facebook account that he threatened the vice president, that read, “ Dapat patayin na talaga si Leni Lugaw”.

The police investigated his claim and found out that the Facebook post was uploaded in the Facebook page of ‘Tweets Pinas’ on March 16 that also posted negative reactions from several Facebook users and complaints from supporters of the vice president.

Cenizan became the object of incessant bashing and insults from netizens for his alleged comments.

He said he went to the police station on March 16 to report that his Facebook account was hacked sometime in November 2021.

P/Major Edgar Palaylay, town police chief, indicated in his report that Cenizan denied posting anything on social media against Robredo, adding that he suspected that someone is using his account “just to post fake news and make fun of him”.

Cenizan also reported the incident to the Municipal Local Government Office here to clarify the matter. (Eva Visperas)
