2 men commit suicide
TWO men committed suicide in separate incidents in Alaminos City on Feb. 27.
Jervie Navarro, 33, a resident of Palali St., Barangay Poblacion, Alaminos City was discovered dead with a nylon rope tied around his neck hanging inside his rented apartment.
The victim’s mother said her son was suffering from depression.
In a separate suicide incident, Jefferson Manzano, 29, was discovered lifeless with a nylon rope tied around his neck hanging underneath a mango tree in their backyard in Purok San Juan, Barangay Alos.
Prior to the incident, Manzano had a drinking spree and he became hysterical and told his drinking buddies he would commit suicide.
He was pacified and accompanied to take a rest at a nipa hut and was left alone.
Few hours later, he was discovered hanging dead by his uncle. (Eva Visperas)
