Two drug dealers nabbed in Dagupan buy-bust
TWO more suspected drug pushers fell in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Dagupan Police last January 21 in Barangay Lucao.
Arrested were Antonio Lampa, alias “Tonio”, 31, of PNR Site in Barangay Mayombo, and his cohort identified as Jeffrey Datuin, alias “Ping”, 32, also of PNR Site in Mayombo,
The two transacted with an undercover policeman who agreed to meet at 7:07 p.m. near the City Square Residences in Barangay Lucao.
Unknown to the suspects, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Dagupan Police in civilian clothes, some with body-worn cameras, were ready for them before they arrived at the appointed time and place.
After Lampa and Datuin handed seven small sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,000, and received the marked money and some neatly cut pieces of paper, the two were promptly arrested.
The buy-bust money was found in the possession of Datuin. (Butch Uka)
