A 41-year-old tricycle driver was killed by a Nigerian national he had an altercation with in Barangay Lucao in Dagupan City last Monday, August 2.

The victim, Dennis Razo, a resident of Barangay Lucao, was on board his tricycle when he approached the suspect, Nigerian national Emmanuelemeka Endukwe, 31, and offered him a ride, thinking he was a potential passenger.

Endukwe reportedly resented Razo’s offer and cussed the latter that quickly led to a heated altercation. The enraged Endukwe assaulted Razo who in turn ran to his tricycle to get a metal pipe for his defense.

The suspect managed to disarm Razo, took the pipe and began hitting the victim who had fallen to the ground.

Endukwe continued to beat Razo in the head until the victim laid bloodied and still.

Responders rushed Razo to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, Endukwe currently under police custody and has been charged for homicide.

It was learned that Endukwe was already involved in a case of direct assault last April 2021 and many others, including fellow Nigerians had filed complaints against him for his aggressive behavior. (Ahikam Pasion)
