Peryahan ng Bayan bet collector stabbed dead
A NUMBERS game collector was stabbed dead on June 17 in Barangay Malabago, Calasiao .
Rudy Basanes, 65, collector of Peryahan ng Bayan and a National Bilibid Prison parolee, was resting in a waiting shed along the highway when two unidentified suspects repeatedly stabbed him.
The assailants fled while Basanes was brought to Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City but was declared dead on arrival.
Police investigators are still establishing the motive for the killing. (Eva Visperas)
