Pangasinan registers zero death from “Uwan”

NO casualty was reported in Pangasinan as a result of Super Typhoon Uwan (International name: Fung-wong) as of Wednesday, November 12, according to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

PDRRMO attributed the zero casualty to the preemptive evacuation of residents, particularly along the coastal areas, that were expected to be affected by storm surge as high as three to four meters.

Many of these headed to various evacuation centers set up by local governments or fled to the homes of their relatives. (Mathew Pacheco)
