Malasiqui LGU to waterworks: Improve water supply by September
MALASIQUI Mayor Alfie Soriano gave Balibago Waterworks until the end of September this year to resolve the water supply problems in several barangays within the town.
In an interview over Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan, Soriano said he had spoken with the general manager of Balibago Waterworks for Luzon, who assured him that the ongoing pipe-laying project would be completed in two months.
The new pipes are expected to deliver a more stable water supply, especially in the central Barangay Poblacion.
The mayor said it had been a year and a half since the memorandum of agreement for the pipe-laying project was signed between the Malasiqui local government and Balibago Waterworks, and it is about time that it be completed. (Ahikam Pasion)
