LMP-Pangasinan holds first post-election meeting
THE mayors of Pangasinan convened for their first official meeting under the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Pangasinan Chapter following the May 12 midterm elections.
The gathering involved updates on ongoing projects, sharing of new initiatives, and discussions to reinforce collaboration among local government units.
Manaoag Mayor Jeremy Agerico Rosario led the meeting as the current LMP-Pangasinan Chapter president.
Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil, the immediate past president and outgoing national LMP spokesperson, joined the event and reaffirmed his continued support for the organization.
Representing the provincial government was Provincial Administrator Melecio Patague II, who conveyed a message of support from Governor Ramon Guico III.
The meeting also served as a platform to strengthen the bond among local officials, fostering better coordination, collective action, and a unified goal to further advance the development of Pangasinan. (Ahikam Pasion)
