Manaoag mayor aims to improve LGU workers’ competence
MANAOAG Mayor Jeremy Agerico Ming Rosario, who was re-elected for another three-year term, is aiming to deliver better public service through enhanced competence and professionalism among the ranks of local government workers.
During the Monday flag-raising ceremony last week, Rosario appealed to municipal employees to improve the delivery of their duties and work ethics, noting that stricter measures are now in effect to monitor performance.
“No more troublemakers,” he said.
To address issues of absenteeism and inefficiency, the mayor announced that on-the-spot attendance checks will be conducted.
He instructed staff to conduct patrols and check on various work areas, including those posted at markets, to ensure proper service delivery.
Rosario also announced plans to tighten the enforcement of work protocols to improve the overall quality of service to the public. (Ahikam Pasion)
