Electoral board training for teachers done
COMELEC completed the training for teachers in Pangasinan who will serve as members of the electoral board during the midterm elections on May 12, 2025.
“The training was critical in ensuring that our electoral board members are prepared to handle their responsibilities effectively,” Dagupan City Election Officer Atty. Michael Franks Sarmiento said.
A final briefing for the electoral board members will be conducted before voting day.
Looking ahead, Sarmiento expressed optimism that there will be no issues during the election process, noting the complications faced during the 2022 elections, where two polling precincts had to delay their proclamations due to a shortage of contingency machines.
In one case in Bonuan Gueset, the system crashed and the ballots of persons deprived of liberty were not placed in the machine.. (Ahikam Pasion)
