Fair weather expected on New Year’s Eve
STATE weather agency PAGASA’s Dagupan City office forecasts good weather in the province on the evening of December 31 as Pangasinenses welcome 2025.
Engr. Jose Estrada Jr., Chief Meteorologist of the PAG-ASA local office, said that no low pressure area or adverse weather conditions are foreseen within and immediately outside the Philippine area.
The two typhoons that entered the country this month, Querubin and Romina, affected mainly southern Luzon, the Mimaropa region, and parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
“These typhoons did not have much impact in Pangasinan… What is being experienced now is a normal weather system, which is the northeast monsoon or amihan that brings cooler air and low temperature,” he said. (Kim Gealogo)
