Over 300 Manaoag senior citizens get free cataract surgery
THE Manaoag local government, in partnership with the Eye Center in San Carlos City, provided free cataract surgery to more than 300 senior citizens of the town.
Mayor Jeremy Rosario called on other elderly residents suffering from the eye disorder to get in touch with his office for assistance and possible inclusion in the next batch of patients.
He said the local government has already sent out the 20th batch for the free surgeries.
This initiative is part of the municipal government’s program to improve the quality of life of its senior citizens by addressing preventable vision impairments. (Ahikam Pasion)
