Classes, work in Binmaley suspended April 4 – 8
MAYOR Pedro Merrera III issued an executive order (EO) suspending classes in all public and private schools in all levels including work in Binmaley I and II District Offices from April 4, 2024 to April 8, 2024 due to dangerous heat index being experienced in the municipality.
Merrera said EO No. 16, issued on April 3, stated that the town’s local government is mandated to safeguard learners and personnel from unnecessary physical dangers which they may be exposed to, including but not limited to high heat index and heavy rain showers.
He added that “there is a need to implement modular distance learning to address poor and unfavorable learning environment”.
Merrera also cited a letter dated April 3, 2024 from the Division Sub-Office Binmaley requesting the suspension of classes of all public and private schools in all levels and work in Binmaley & District Offices on April 4, 2024 and April 8, 2024. (Eva Visperas)
