Dagupan POSO: Construction activities nearing completion
THE Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) of Dagupan City urged motorists and riders to continue to bear with the inconvenience brought about by road upgrading because construction activities are nearing completion.
“Kaunting tiis na lang po, para sa kapakinabangan din naman po nating lahat ang ginagawang pagpapataas ng kalsada, ” Dagupan POSO Deputy Rexon de Vera said.
Meanwhile, POSO continues to study other possible rerouting or diversion of vehicles to minimize congestion along AB Fernandez Avenue.
So far, jeepneys plying the route Dagupan to Calasiao have been rerouted to pass through Herrero-Perez instead of MH del Pilar, while jeeps plying Lingayen route are ordered to pass through Rizal Street.
Only vehicles with routes Downtown Loop, Tambac, and Bonuan are permitted to pass through MH del Pilar Street which is also under construction.
Meanwhile, La Union to Pangasinan (LUPA) routes are ordered to take the Tebeng-Caranglaan road.
Earlier, Mayor Belen T. Fernandez said that some parts of primary roads will be opened by March 2024 as per advise by contractors. (Ahikam Pasion)
