MBTF on a week-long learning visit in Thailand
MAYOR Belen Fernandez is on a learning trip to Thailand on the invitation of the Kasersart University in Bangkok, the largest agricultural science higher learning institution in that country.
Along with City Legal Officer Aurora Valle and her chief of staff Luz de Guzman, Mayor Fernandez will study product branding, marketing and promotion for micro-small and medium enterprises in that university.
In her absence, Vice Mayor Bryan Kua serves as acting mayor while Councilor Librada Reyna-Macalanda is acting vice mayor.
Her learning visit bodes well for the plan of the Dagupan City government to co-manage the RP-Korean Seafood Processing Plant in Bonuan Binloc with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
On June 25 the Sangguniang Panlungsod finally passed a resolution authorizing Mayor to sign a MOA relative to the Seafood Processing Complex. (Leonardo Micua)
