FUTURE LEADERS TRAINING

YOUNG city officials under the Manlingkor Ya Kalengwaran (MYK) program took over the reins of the city government last June 13 following their oathtaking officiated by Mayor Belen Fernandez at the E-Library in Bonifacio Street.

In the MYK program, Fernandez yielded her post for one week to Young City Mayor Princess Johnelle Baniqued of East-Central Elementary School (ECES), while Vice Mayor Bryan Kua turned over the gavel to Young City Vice Mayor Maureen de Guzman of Dagupan City National High School (DCNHS).

Together with Mayor Fernandez, the young city officials made a round in all the 31 barangays of Dagupan to deliver the social services needed by the people of the city.

Inducted as Young Councilors were Kevin Kirk Garantoza (OISYL-Oakridge International School of Young Leaders), Zoe’s Shannon Fernandez (PUI-Pangasinan Universal Institute),  Jaiden Daniel Cantapay (BBNHS-Bonuan Boquig National High School), Jan Aubrey Baquing (DCNHS), Melody Valerie Meneses (DCNHS), Khayle Catamaran (PUI), Madison Claire Sim (DS-Dominican School), Federico Angelo Sabado III (DS), Chazelle Meljay Gregorio (DCNHS) and Chesca Marie Nadal (DCNHS).

Yzteven Kish Casilang (BBNHS) as Liga ng mga Barangay president while Sean Miguel Edralin (LMA- La Marea Academy) as Sangguniang Kabataan president.
