Cops hail Pangasinan PPO’s declaration as drug-free workplace

THE morale among Pangasinan policemen is visibly high after the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) at Camp Antonio Sison in Lingayen was declared a Drug-Free Work Place by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

P/Capt. Renan dela Cruz, PPPO information officer, said policemen are happy after learning of the result of their mandatory random drug testing that showed no one tested positive of illegal drugs.

Dela Cruz affirmed that all the uniformed personnel and civilian employees strictly followed the order of P/Colonel Jeff Fanged, police provincial director, not to get involved in illegal drugs, either as pushers or users.

“This is a good inspiration to all of us who have been conducting anti-drug operations to make our province eventually freed from illegal  drug,” De la Cruz said.
