VICE Governor Mark Lambino said the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) will continue to hold out-of-town sessions in Pangasinan following the recent successful holding of its session in Malico, San Nicolas town.

Lambino said the SP plans to hold its next out-of-town session in one of the western towns not normally visited like Barangay Pita, Infanta town which is a remote area or Santiago Island in Bolinao.

He added that he is unsure yet if they will be able to have the session livestreamed with high speed connection like what the San Nicolas local government did when the provincial board held its session there in March.

“But definitely we’re looking at somewhere in the west,” Lambino said.

“For logistical purposes, we can’t do it monthly or as often as we want to. But we’re targeting at least one per quarter,” he said.

For the remainder of the year, Lambino said they might do two more out-of-town sessions.
