2nd round of National Vaccination Days set on December 5

THE second round of the National Vaccination Days or Bakunahang Bayan of the Department of Health (DOH) is set to return on Monday, December 5-7.

Dr. Rheuel Bobis, COVID-19 focal person of the DOH-Center for Health Development in Region I, said the three-day vaccination seeks to protect the public against possible surge in COVID-19 cases during the holiday season.

In Pangasinan, 2,008,032 individuals are vaccinated, while 545,495 have received their booster shots.

Vaccination sites will be found in markets, plazas, factories, churches, vehicle terminals, schools, and even shopping malls.

The DOH also aims to inoculate children aged 5 to 11 years old with the primary series of vaccines, while minors aged 12 to 17 years old be injected with their first booster dose.

Latest DOH-CHD1 monitoring in November 25 shows 9,238,026 doses of COVID-19 vaccines injected, where 3,852,438 individuals have been inoculated. (Ahikam Pasion)
