THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office will deploy some 3,000 policemen to secure people visiting cemeteries and in other converging places in Pangasinan during the observance of Undas 2022.

P/Colonel Jeff Fanged, OIC provincial police director, said he will preside over a meeting with all chiefs of police next week for them to lay down their respective security plans for Undas.

He said he expects bigger crowds this year from Metro Manila and from other provinces for their reunion with their families and pay their respects to their dead kins in cemeteries in keeping up with the yearly tradition of Undas.

For this, the police will maintain their tight watch in various cemeteries, tourist spots, churches, beaches and all places where visitors used to frequent while some will be deployed to keep watch along the highways. (Ella Garcia)
