“No Vaccine, No Entry” in San Carlos City, Calasiao cemeteries

By October 30, 2022Inside News

SOME local governments decided to maintain implementing the “No Vaccine-No Entry” policy in their public cemeteries during the observance of Undas 2022 as a measure to avoid a sudden surge of COVID-19 cases in their localities.

Calasiao was the first to enforce  a “No Vaccine/Booster, No Entry” policy in its cemeteries.

This was followed by San Carlos City.

Both local governments cited the expected overcrowding in their cemeteries while the pandemic has not waned.

San Carlos City put up a COVID-19 vaccination site at the gates of each cemeteries for those unvaccinated and wish to enter the cemetery.

For children from 10 years old and below and individuals from 60 and higher, they are advised to remain at home for them to be safe from COVID-19.  (IFMDagupan News Desk ER/Ella Garcia)
