Bayambang records 8 suicide incidents
THE Bayambang municipal government recorded eight suicide incidents this year, the highest since 2016
This was reported by Dr. Paz Valle, Bayambang municipal health officer, during the recent Suicide Awareness and Prevention Summit organized by the town’s Local Youth Development Office (LYDO).
The summit was attended by students of the Pangasinan State University-Bayambang Campus, Bayambang National High School, St. Vincent’s Catholic School of Bayambang Inc, members of the Sangguniang Bayan and representatives of various departments of the municipal government.
The municipal health office assured families that there is a program in place in the town to prevent suicide among local residents.
