CLASSES in four towns (.two each in Fourth and Fifth districts) were suspended on September 2 due to inclement weather brought about by Super Typhoon Henry

Mayor Ramon Ronald Guico IV of Binalonan (Fifth D.) suspended classes in all levels from pre-school to college level, public and private institutions, in a memorandum to school heads which he uploaded on social media.

In an executive order, Manaoag Mayor Jeremy Agerico Rosario (Fourth D.) suspended classes from pre-school to senior high school level. He cited the inclement weather as the cause of the suspension of classes.

San Fabian Mayor Marilyn Agbayani (Fourth D.) suspended classes from pre-school to high schools, public and private, but only afternoon of September 2. Classes in all levels were still held in the morning until dark clouds appeared in the horizon, indicating possible rainfall.

In his Facebook page, Mayor Liseldo Calugay of Sual announced the suspension of classes from preparatory to high school also on September 2.

Heavy thunderstorm spawned by Super Typhoon Henry at past 1:00 a.m. on September 2 knocked down electricity in certain areas in the province.

‘Henry’ veered towards extreme Northern Luzon when it entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility as it was headed to Japan. (Leonardo Micua)
