LINGAYEN town’s local government, in partnership with the Provincial Health Office (PHO), the Philippine Business for Social Progress and RCG Premier Foundation Inc., held a “Cough Caravan” on August 4 at the Civic Center.

Mae Rueda, municipal information officer, said the caravan, marked the observance of the National Lung Month this August and provided free tuberculosis (TB) screening to Lingayen residents.

She said the served beneficiaries: household contacts of current and/or old TB patients; TB symptomatic patients with cough for one week or more; and vulnerable population groups such as persons with comorbidities and tricycle operators and drivers association (TODA) members with no COVID-19 exposure.
