DAGUPAN City received a mobile clinic from the Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) Region 1 on August 24, 2022 at the City Health Office (CHO).

Mayor Belen Fernandez thanked the DOH’s continued support to the city government’s program providing quality facilities and equipment as part of the implementation of the Universal Health Care that aims to provide equitable quality health care access to all Filipinos.

The mobile clinic can provide X-rays and basic laboratory tests such as complete blood count, urinalysis, fasting blood sugar, among others.

Fernandez said the CHO will utilize the mobile clinic, along with the city’s dental health bus, for the conduct of medical-dental health caravans.

DOH Regional Director Dr. Paula Paz Sydiongco echoed the mayor’s plans for the mobile clinic.

The DOH selected Dagupan as one of the 33 cities and provinces in the country as Advanced Implementation Site of the Universal Health Care. (CIO)
