Dagupan POSO to start enforcing “No-Parking” ordinance

By July 24, 2022Inside News

THE Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) in Dagupan City will soon begin issuing traffic citation tickets for illegally parked vehicles in the city.

Arvin Decano, POSO chief, ordered enforcers to start monitoring ‘no parking areas’ and warn motorists of plans to strictly enforce the city ordinance on parking in city streets, and begin issuing citation tickets to owners of vehicles caught parking in ‘No Parking’ areas.

In line with this, the city government is considering to remove the number coding scheme for private vehicles. The coding scheme was enacted through a city ordinance during the pandemic lockdown.

Only medical frontliners are exempt from the number coding system. (Ahikam Pasion)
