DOH CHD-1 donates equipment to PPH, MCH
THE Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (PPH) and Manaoag Community Hospital (MCH) will be the latest beneficiaries of a donation of a set of medical equipment after Governor Amado Espino III signs Deeds of Donation from the Department of Health-Center for Health Development 1 (DOH CHD 1).
The PPH in San Carlos City will receive a cardiac monitor, defibrillator with monitor, oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters, handheld pulse oximeters, oxygen therapy sets and oxygen concentrators while MCH will receive A mechanical bed 3 cranks, biological refrigerator, and automated external defibrillator.
The donations are part of the DOH’s Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) for the upgrading of medical and health care facilities in support to the provincial government’s health care program.
HFEP serves as the national government’s vehicle by which public health care facilities receive assistance for infrastructure improvement and equipment upgrade. (PIO)
