Worker dies of heat stroke
A construction worker died of heart failure caused by heat stroke in Sitio Guam, Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City last April 4.
The lifeless body of Ronald Baracas, 41, of Capantolan, Sual, was found on the floor of a house under renovation owned by Lorenzo Barrozo.
Baracas was found dead by Joshua Bantolen, 25, a co-worker of Baracas, when he reported for work at the construction site at about 9:40 a.m. that day.
Dr. Benjamin Batista of the City Health Office, who responded to the call of the barangay, said no foul play was committed as Baracas obviously died from a heart failure caused by heath stroke.
Baracas body was sent to the Abalos Funeral Homes for autopsy. (Leonardo Micua)
