Fire razes poultry farm in Manaoag
A FIRE broke out in a poultry farm in Barangay Inamotan in Manaoag town on Tuesday night, March 1.
Fire Senior Inspector Kinber-Ann Babasoro said the fire started at around 6 p.m. and raised to a second alarm and was declared fire out at around 8:30 p.m.
The farm, owned by Josephine Barrios, was mostly made of light materials that enable the fire to spread fast.
There were no poultry products in the farm but the caretaker said there were bunch of papers inside the poultry when the fire hit.
As of this writing, the cause of the fire was not yet clear. Arson investigators are currently in the area to determine the cause of the fire. (Jerick Pasiliao)
