San Nicolas town energizes 40 more indigent families’ homes
150 HOUSEHOLDS ENERGIZED LAST YEAR
THE local government of San Nicolas town continued its electrification program by providing power to 40 more households of families assessed as incapable of paying for electricity.
Mayor Alicia Primicias-Enriquez said under the town’s electrification program, each residential household classified as disadvantaged or underprivileged, mostly from far-flung areas, will be provided with free kilowatt meter, service drop wires and outlets.
Enriquez said 40 households have been energized in Barangays Dalumpinas (13), Camangaan (7), Cabuloan (6), Malilion (6), Lungao (4), Calanutian (2), Camindoroan (1) and Sto. Tomas, (1).
Last year, 150 households were energized with its P2-million budget.
She said it is heartwarming to see her constituents happy and grateful for the basic services they have been receiving from the local government.
“Under my administration, “Serbisyong Sapat at SerbisYong Tapat”, every San Nicolanian will get the basic services they need,” she said.
Enriquez said her administration will again allocate P2-million for next year’s electrification program to continuously improve the quality of life of the indigent families. (Eva Visperas)
