IN a Facebook post on Sept. 29, Mayor Gualberto Sison of Agno said he informed his constituents that he is tested positive of COVID-19 and is currently on quarantine.

“Since I am fully vaccinated with Sinovac, I am asymptomatic,” Sison  said.

He said when he learned that his RT-PCRT result showed he tested positive, he immediately observed strict quarantine protocol and ordered immediate contact tracing among persons who had close contacts in the past 3 days.

Sison assured his constituents that he is in good condition and is awaiting the end of his 10-day quarantine.

He said he still continues to work through teleconferencing with department heads.

“COVID-19 does not spare anyone,” he warned and reiterated his order that people must observe basic health protocols and to go out only for essential purposes. (Eva Visperas)
