THE Hall of Justice Building  at Tondaligan Park was placed on guarded lockdown and for disinfection from September 23 to 24 on order of the Court Administrator upon the request of Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Genovdeva Coching-Maramba.

A memorandum of Judge Maramba dated September 22, 2021 addressed to all courts stated that the guarded lockdown was approved in a letter of Deputy Court Administrator Raul Villanueva.

The letter stated “if only to allow you some breathing space, so to speak, a guarded lockdown in your station may be allowed . . .to enable the disinfection of the Hall of Justice and to put in place measures door strict compliance with health and safety protocols in the said building.”

The disinfection of the Justice Building was undertaken by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. (Leonardo Micua)
