San Roque Dam water level still low
DESPITE HEAVY RAINS
THE intermittent heavy rainfall in Pangasinan the past days failed to stabilize the water level at the San Roque Dam in San Manuel town. It remained at 242.78 meters above sea level (masl) only as of July 29.
This was still way below the 280 masl spilling level of the dam.
The Pangasinan Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office said water inflow was at 921 cubic meters per second (cms) while outflow was zero cms.
It also reported that there were no gates open in the dam.
On July 28, water dam level was at 236.12 masl, with an inflow of 436 cms and 0 cms outflow. (Eva Visperas)
